For Grandaddy's 70th Birthday the Colorado Rockies decided to come to Washington D.C.! Can you believe it? Well....maybe they just happen to be on the schedule like that but we like to think of it as previously mentioned!
Here we are with the birthday boy...ready to go to the game.

Morgan didn't get to go...she was really sad but Davis tried to make her feel better with some big brother kisses.

Up close right behind the dugout....hoping for a view of some of our favorite players. We saw Spilly, Tulo and Hawpe...so cool! One of the pitching coaches threw Davis a ball. Pete threw it over the dugout....Uvaldo caught it, signed it and threw it back!

Then we just happen to be sitting where some guys were warming up in the outfield...who walks over but TODD HELTON! We were so excited. Pete ran Davis down there and Todd actually made the statement "Hold on, I have to go and sign this little guy's ball". I dont' know who was more excited, Pete or Davis but anyhow I am positive NONE of us will ever be that close to Todd Helton ever...again...
