Field Day 2009

Davis had his first ever field day....he loved it even though it was
FREEZING outside in early October!

Ms. Horowitz (Davis' teacher) with her class...
The parachute station (this was my favorite as a child).

Morgan thought the parachute looked like the most fun!

Kids running under the parachute, this was the most popular part of this station.

Davis is in the maroon fleece. I could not convince him to take his hood down for pictures, he was freezing.

Some sort of 'tag' station, I didn't understand the rules but it had something to do with holding an orange ball vs. a blue ball....the kids just liked running around.

Davis running at another station...they called it something else but as I grew up we called this 'murder ball'....probably not pc anymore though, huh?

Davis trying not to get hit.

Egg in a spoon race, the kindergartners were surprisingly good at this one.

Davis didn't drop his egg once!

Tug- of-war!~ The teacher put Davis in the front...obviously not the anchor- guy...

Ms. Horowitz's class at tug-of-war!

Ms. Horowitz was sweet enough to take a picture of Morgan and I with Davis before we left. I think that Davis really enjoyed his field day.
