12 Days of Giving Challenge

My good friend Bethany (see The Balsis Family on my links to the right) has challenged her close knit blogging community to a '12 Days of Giving' activity. I worried that I may not be able to keep up with this activity but with much support from her I (we?) have decided to take her up on her challenge in my house!

Below is a brief description of the basic idea from her blogsite:

"For the first 12 days of December, let's give! Let's inspire others by sharing how we give. Whether it be donating an old pair of glasses, volunteering at a homeless shelter, or buying something for someone in need...all of it matters."

So for the next 12 days you will be reading on my post what our family has done to enrich other's lives around us. It may be big or small (probably small) and keeping in mind I am working three in a row this weekend so we may have to be 'creative' in our giving.
