So...today I am cheating just a bit. I didn't do this particular activity today but a few weeks ago with my mom. Every year her church in the town where I grew up does the 'Operation Christmas Child'. This year mom got our family our own child and off we went to fill up our shoebox.
Our child was between the ages of 5-9 years. We filled it with new toothbrushes, toothpaste, some matchbox cars, crayons, socks, a small football and may other things that I can't even remember. Needless to say our shoebox was overflowing with boy things.
So...I didn't really do this 'donation' today but I am still happy that we did it and I know we will continue to do at least one child each holiday season from now on.

We LOVE Operation Christmas Child!! We've done it the past 4 or 5 years and have so much fun filling boxes!
That sounds terrific! I think its something we are definitely going to get involved in.
