Fall Ball

Fall brought t-ball to our home again. We asked Davis what he wanted to play....soccer or t-ball and he said t-ball please! I don't think that soccer was a hit last year, mostly because he didn't understand the sport very well and his coach wasn't great with kids...

So this season Davis was on the Diamondbacks!
He was the veteran for t-ball on his team since most of the other team members had just moved up from 'blastball'  this season.

Davis playing the pitching position...

Davis playing the catcher...I wish I had gotten a photo of him in his squatting position, it was just too cute!

Davis plyaing first base. Just like a lil' Helton...

Up to bat...

Running the bases...

          Another season under our belts.
Pete and I feel we may change leagues next season. Davis has a 'late' birthday in terms of moving up within the little league system up here so he WILL be the oldest on his team next season in t-ball (and most of his friends will be moving up to machine pitch). We could sign a waiver to let him play machine pitch but we are not sure he ready for that either...
if you can't get a hit what is the fun in baseball?

There is another league in the area where the coach stands to the side of the batter and throws the ball up so they don't use a tee at all...still getting used to the ball being in the air when you hit it but not having the ball come at you...we will see.
