So...today the weather man said it was 'dumping' in Breckenridge, CO. Pete and I visited Breck and Denver a few weeks ago so in honor of the snowy weather there I am posting pictures here!
BeauJo's...a staple in mountain eating.
We were lucky enough to be there when all the Aspen trees were changing,
the drive up the mountains was beautiful!
Our future home....haha...one day...
We arrived in Breck just in time to eat dinner with Ryan and catch the end of this 'urban' bike race. You should have seen these bikers come down the two sets of stairs at the end of the race...crazy!
The next day we headed into Vail. There was an old car show event happening so it was more crowded than we thought it would be. The weather could not have been better though...
Pete and I had lunch at this cute little tavern. Those are ski slopes behind Pete..
just waiting for snow to cover them!
Leaving Vail you could really see all the Aspens changing.
A little golf....check out those 'purple mountain majesties' in the background!
Ryan and Pete played golf while I tagged along for the beverages and the view.
Sunday we hit OktoberFest and we hit it hard....we fested for a total of 12 hours that day!
Wow...bummed you can't see this but right in the middle are plates of our friend 'Dirty Ray'. Sure wish Ray & Jen could have made the trip up....hint, hint...
Keg Bowling....
Ryan, Johnny (Johnny Cakes) Shand and Pete (Peter Patch) Thompson...Ryan and Pete went to high school and college together and are fraternity brothers. Pete and Johnny did Wintergreen ski patrol/ski school together back in the day....when they were young.....hahahahha.
