In May we went to Las Vegas...
to surprise Pete's little brother who was turning the big
40!
Wendi and Patrick arrived a day ahead of time...
we got there on Friday to surprise him...
And boy did we get him good!
Pete walked up to him poolside and asked Patrick if the chair next to him was taken...
Patrick took a triple take, it was hilarious!
Later that night another couple who are good friends of Pat and Wendi's got him again in the lobby...
Our first night in Vegas we went to 'Aria'...it is a wine bar that has the wine stored in a glass case in the center of the restaurant and these 'wine angels' float up to the top and down to get your wine.

There was a lot of walking around....
In the MGM you could pay $200/ person for 6 minutes in with the lions...
we passed...
...but they were pretty cute...
We gambled a little...saw a couple of shows...
Walked the strip....
Drank a 'bit'...
Things sort of went 'downhill' from here....
but fun was had by all!
Where are we going next year guys????
