While at the Outer Banks earlier this summer Grandaddy saw a bi-plane and proclaimed he would 'really enjoy going up in one of those'!...
So, when we headed down south again to the OBX Pete and I decided that it would be the perfect birthday present for him...I mean really, who needs another shirt, right Grandaddy?...
At the time of booking this flight we were not sure who would go up with Grandaddy...
Pete and I finally decided that Davis should be the one, after all the boy is as addicted to flying as his dad...

Okay, now we are ready to go!
Heading out for their 30 minute ride...they saw the new pier, an old sunken pirate ship and the Wright Bros. Memorial....The Graves even saw them while out on the beach that morning but Grandaddy said everyone looked like ants to him, haha...
Everyone is back on solid ground, safe and sound and the best part?
No one got sick!
