I put my tree up before Thanksgiving this year...I did...and I am okay with it. Decorating the house is a big job for me (because I overdo it...I know) but I love the season..the smells, the music. I LOVE just sitting at night with the tree lights on and nothing else...
Taking down the tree is a sad day in this household...but it makes it all the more special when we put it back up next year.

This year the kids were more into 'helping' us unbox everything...
we only had 3 broken ornaments...so far.
Davis took care of the back of the tree for me, mostly because he was the only one who could fit back there...
