Yes, yes...we finally have an 'Elf on the Shelf'. Most of you, I am sure, know about this elf.
We named him 'Jingles' and he is VERY popular at our house in the mornings.
He arrives around the first of December and reports to Santa on a nightly basis. My friend Heather does her's a bit different and I sort of stole the idea from her that 'Jingles' will only move to a new location on the nights he actually goes to visit Santa...which requires that 'Jingles' has GOOD things to report on...thus requiring my children to be nice, not naughty.
The day we brought our elf home...
The first night he started on the mantle.
It took Morgan all the restraint possible for her to NOT touch 'Jingles' as touching the elf makes him lose his magic...

Here's to hoping 'Jingles' brings all GOOD reports to Santa.
Knock on wood we have been able to move Jingles every night ....so far....
